Cappoquin house and gardens

Cappoquin House & Gardens is an 18th century Georgian mansion built on the site of an old Fitzgerald castle in the centre of town. The house and gardens enjoy magnificent views over the River Blackwater. It was built as one of a series of castles which commanded the tidal waters of the river. Open April to July, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 1pm. Open all year for tours by appointment.

Lismore castle

Lismore Castle has been the Irish home of the Dukes of Devonshire since 1753 and is possibly the most spectacular castle in Ireland. Situated in a panoramic position overlooking the Blackwater Valley it has views over rolling, wooded hills to the Knockmealdown Mountains beyond. Waterford Crystal visitor's centre

The Waterford Crystal Visitor's Centre is a must see for anyone visiting the Waterford area. The centre is located in Kilbarry on the outskirts of Waterford City and has a restaurant ("Gatchells") offering traditional home cooked cuisine to suit all tastes and a Bureau de change on site. The centre also offers tours with multilingual guides
